5th in the series of successful ’Rock n Raise’ fundraising events, each helps support the children and young people of the North East. Plus, everyone involved and performing donates their time.
The evening got underway with the most serene of starts with Ajoia featuring Anthony Gorry and Andrew Lovell formally of M People.
House band Groovetrain was transformed to a ‘Geordie Supergroup’ with the addition of Sam Fender’s saxman Johnny ‘Blue Hat’ Davis, Liam Fender, Hairy Biker’s Si King and a surprise performance from Newcastle’s new star – Andrew Cushin who performed the classic ‘Wishing On A Star.’
The night was a fantastic success, raising £12,200!
Thank you to all the artists who donated their time and talent to us on the night, Wylam Brewery who once again hosted the evening, everyone who bought tickets and our fantastic volunteers!
