Two New Kosmos Heart Scanning Tablets Provided to CHUF
Two portable Kosmos tablet machines have been provided to Newcastle Hospital Trust clinics, enabling timely imaging across theatres, wards and outreach facilities.

Thanks to our friends at the Sir Graham Wylie Foundation, two further heart scanning machines are now operational within clinics at Newcastle Hospital Trust.
The Kosmos tablet machines are easily transported to theatre, wards or outreach clinics, ensuring patients receive good timely imaging. They can also be used by consultants for more targeted clinic scans, particularly where a rapid echo is required outside the cardiology environment, such as rapid maternal scans on the delivery suite at the RVI.
Providing the best possible care to all patients is the driving factor of the highly skilled multidisciplinary team at Newcastle Hospital Trust, and it is our privilege to continue supporting them with cutting edge technology.
