Who We Help

Working with local charities

The Sir Graham Wylie Foundation is set up with the charity commission to make grants to local charities.

The grants help groups of children and young poeple in challenging and vulnerable circumstances. The Foundation is one of a rare few charities anywhere in the world to hand 100% of donations to deserving causes.

Teenage Cancer Trust

Teenage Cancer Trust, who have two specialised units in Newcastle that cover the whole of the North East and Cumbria.

One at RVI for 13-18 year olds and one at the Freeman Hospital for 19-24 year olds, they also work closely with smaller designated hospitals in Sunderland and Middlesbrough. Teenage Cancer Trust make sure that young people don’t face cancer alone.

Nordoff Robbins

Nordoff Robbins, who we are helping to bring music therapy to the North East for the first time to support some of our most isolated groups of children who will benefit from their life changing music therapy.

The Foundation have provided Nordoff Robbins with a building to become the first music centre outside of London. This centre will need funding year on year.
