Glam, Rock n Raise: Help support the children and young people of the North East

Greatest Hits Radio is digging out the flares and platform shoes to proudly support the Sir Graham Wyllie Foundation ‘Glam Rock n Raise’ event on Saturday 18 June.

4th in the series of successful ’Rock n Raise’ fundraising events, each helps support the children and young people of the North East. Plus, everyone involved and performing donates their time.

Join Greatest Hits Radio’s Andy Crane for some Saturday Night Fever as he hosts an evening of 70’s Glam Rock, Soul and Disco at the fabulous Salt Market Social on the North Shields Fish Quay.

Expect to hear Abba, Slade, Sweet, T Rex, Barry White, Bee Gee’s, Earth Wind & Fire, Rose Royce, The Jackson 5 and many more.

There’ll be surprise guests, DJ’s and live acts – including dancing queen’s Lorraine Crosby’s Abba Spectacular, and king of the 70’s Manhattan disco scene, Vincent Vibrator: The Vinyl Technician.

All this, along with authentic 70’s food and drink being served throughout the night – just make sure you save us a pineapple & cheese on a stick!
